Denise Manchester, RN, CEN
Director of Education
Denise Manchester has sixteen years of experience as an Emergency/ Trauma nurse in the Emergency Department at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In May, 2000 she was honored with the award for 'Nurses Who Make A Difference In Erie County"; presented by the Erie County Council of Nurses, in
recognition of her efforts to create HAVEN.
Denise had helped the local Bleeding Disorders Community initiate a support
group. Upon identifying this population as desperately underserved, she lobbied for the support of local and national Health-Care Industry resources and worked to create HAVEN, a non-profit corporation for the support and
education of the Hemophilia community in Erie. Denise currently serves as the Director of Education and Board Vice-President of HAVEN.
A life-long resident of Erie, Denise enjoys spending time with her husband,
Bob and their two children. She feels blessed by the many friends she has found within the Bleeding-Disorders Community.
